Le projet éolien nommé Courseulles-sur-Mer se situe en réalité à Arromanches devant les plages du débarquement de Normandie.
Les 75 éoliennes en mer géantes de ce projet entraîneront la dégradation d’un lieu préservé hautement symbolique de la paix dans le monde, la profanation du cimetière marin où le 6 juin 1944, des milliers de soldats de toutes les nationalités ont donné leur vie pour sauver la France et l'Europe de la tyrannie.
Ce projet est strictement incompatible avec le respect dû à ces soldats, et la demande en cours de classement du site au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco.
Par un chantage à l’emploi, les promoteurs éoliens ont tenté d’influencer le gouvernement actuel et la région Normandie pour faire aboutir le projet. Ils ont masqué qu’il s’agit d’emplois hautement subventionnés par de l’argent public, que ce projet produira une électricité de mauvaise qualité à un prix 5 fois supérieur à celui du marché, et que l’écosystème marin sera détruit.

NO to the desecration of the marine cemetery off the D-Day Beaches
The wind project named Courseulles-sur-Mer is actually located at Arromanches off the D-Day beaches.
75 giant wind turbines, would lead to the degradation of the highly symbolic nature of this preserved location and to the desecration of the marine cemetery where on 6 June 1944 thousands of soldiers of all nationalities gave their lives to save France and Europe from tyranny.
This project is strictly incompatible with the respect of these soldiers, and the actual request for classification of the site to the world heritage of UNESCO.
By type of employment blackmail, the wind industry promoters have tried to influence the Government and the Region of Normandy to get this project to succeed.
They hide the fact that these jobs are highly subsidized with public money, and that this offshore wind turbines will produce poor quality electricity at a price 5 times that of the market and result in the destruction of the marine ecosystems.
The French “Fédération Environnement Durable” declares to The French Government:
"You were given the choice between collaboration with Wind financial consortia and honor of France; you have chosen collaboration and you will have dishonor".
